Refreshing Acer Aspire ES1-533 Laptop (IMPOSSIBLE!!!)

I bought this unit used. I have tried to rebuild by holding down the shift key - reboot and select troubleshooting menu. Then rebuild by selecting wipe all user information and starting fresh. It gets maybe 49% and shows error encountered and no changes were made. It had a BIOS supervisor password but by unsoldering the RTC battery and disconnecting the internal battery, I was able to clear the password. Now, I have gone into the boot menu and set it to boot from ANY USB device and the optical drive. I have inserted Windows 10 USB drives and inserted bootable CD into the optical drive. The laptop refuses to boot to anything even though they are set to top priority in the BIOS boot order list but just goes back to the Windows login screen where the old user password is asked for.

I am a computer tech and have rebuilt hundreds of desktops and laptops. I would LIKE to just refresh what is on this one already and remove all previous owner information and files. But if this does not work, I would like to install a fresh SSD and load a fresh copy of W10. But nothing I have attempted has worked. Installing a new formatted SSD I get the message no bootable devices. I have inserted bootable UDB devices as well as W10 DVD. NOTHING has worked, all media is ignored. And there is no Legacy support option that would really allow me to boot from other connected devices.

HELP!!!! Please!!!

Does Alt + F10 work? Disabling Secure Boot?

Secure boot is disabled. Alt+F10 to get it to do what?

That got me to the same Troubleshooting screen I was at with Shift - Reboot. Same results, will not complete a rebuild.

NEVER seen a laptop or desktop before that would not allow access to USB media nor to the optical drive during boot. How are you supposed to load Windows or any other OS to a newly installed SSD? I must be missing some quirk with the newer ACER units. VERY frustrating to say the least.

Look for videos on password reset.

I HAVE the BIOS password reset already. I need to know how to boot to an external source to reload Windows. The rebuild/reset function does not work. I like HP.
