Hi.

I have a strange problem with my Acer Aspire v15 nitro black edition vn7-591g. Its mostly about turning it on after restart. I press the power button and nothing happens , only the keyboard LED lights up and i can hear that the fan`s trying to start or something like that. After a couple of turn on/off `s (sometimes 5-10 , sometimes over 50 times... laptop starts) But the funny parts is that i usually play with external keyboard which have sleep button , and almost every time i turn off the laptop from there (sleep button) and next day i can start it just normally . Once i restart the laptop or turn it completey off i need to pry to see that Acer logo.. . So basicly - if i put on sleep no problem , if i restart or turn off big problem.

Laptop specs are :

Processor
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4710HQ CPU @ 2.50GHz

Video Card
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M

Video Card #2
Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600

RAM
8.0 GB

Operating System
Microsoft Windows 10 (build 17134), 64-bit

Thanks and hope someone can help. :)

  • Hi,
You could try reinstalling the driver for Microsoft ACPI-compliant control method battery, go to Device manager, expand Batteries, right click and select Properties for Microsoft ACPI-compliant control method battery, go to Driver tab and uninstall the driver, reboot and let Windows install the driver.
Check whether the settings are similar to mine in Power options.
