Aspire e15 won't turn on

I got a aspire e15 years ago. It stopped working on me in 2015 however it wasnt until today when I pulled it out of storage I wanted to see if I could figure it out.

Everytime I plug it in I get a blinking orange light where the charging symbol is. It won't power up or turn on. You can't remove the battery in this computer as it is built in. Does anyone have any ideas of what could be wrong? I've tried to hold down the power button for 45 seconds, plugged in and unplugged the only power I'm getting to it is that orange blinking light.

Help please!

    Hi Coconuts,
Please try the following steps to see if that fixes issue.
    Remove the charger.
Turn around the laptop and look for a tiny pin hole in the bottom panel of computer. It has a battery symbol drawn by the side of it.
Ones you locate that, take a pin or paper clip and press and hold it down in the pin hole for 30 seconds. Then connect charger and try to turn on computer.
If you are still getting a blinking light, it may be an issue with the charger. Please use another charger to see if that works. Please let me know if this fixed your issue.

See this webpage for troubleshooting steps. Do internal battery reset instead of hard reset. Video below demonstrates re-seating/replacing RAM sticks.

My Acer Aspire 15 is not turning on but it is charging. When I press the power button the blue light comes and goes but nothing happens. How can I fix this?

    Hi @Janani,

    Try to do power drain,

    1. Shutdown the unit.
    2. Unplug the cables connected to the unit.
    3. At bottom of the unit there will be a small tiny pin hole with a battery symbol close to it. Take a pin or a paper clip insert into it you feels like pressing a button hold it for 20-30 seconds.

    Hi @Easwar

This did not work for me. Still have solid blue light on left, solid orange on right (when plugged in - although I'm pretty sure it turns solid blue, too, when plugged in long enough).
Seems to be getting power, but won't start up.
