Hello all. I have a fairly new Acer Desktop (Aspire TC-885) that I got back in September. I am trying to restore it back to its factory default, but it is just not letting me do so. I tried using the Acer Recovery Management, no dice. I then tried the built in Windows 10 Recovery, but no dice. I even tried using the Alt-F10 method, even that wouldn't work. I think something is corrupt or something on the HDD. I need this problem fixed because I use this computer to do music. Please help. Thank you.

Please check if you are able to create a USB recovery media and use it to restore your computer to factory settings.
Disconnect any external devices like USB hard disk, printer, etc during recovery.

You can also create the Microsoft Media Creation Tool and use it to restore your system.

Okay, I'll try the USB method. But if that doesn't work, I will need to send my computer in to be serviced as it is still well under the 90 day software warranty and the 1 year hardware warranty.

    Hi VDogg,
Please try the USB method and also if you can tell me what happens when you try the Alt+F10 to go to recovery partition.
If your computer is under warranty please contact acer.
