I bought my Aspire F5-573G a year ago, and I'd like to know if its necessary to update the BIOS?

My Acer Aspire F5-573G is 1-year-old now, and I've recently seen on the Acer website that there's an update of the BIOS software, although ACER Care Center tells me that my system is up to date. Is it really necessary to install the update? Also, after the Windows 10 1803 update, I've noticed that ACER Bluelight shield stops working regularly. Is there an issue with the new update and ACER Quick Access?

My PC has a 12 GB RAM and 1 TB of Disk space.

A great deal of unhappiness about 1803.
If only the bluelight shield is not working, it is best to leave well enough alone.
It would be good to enable System Restore (or create a system image), before installing the next Windows 10 update.  That way if the next update turns out to be disastrous, recovery will be quick.
