As the title says -
Can´t connect my Sony Device wh-1000xm2 to my laptop Acer predator.

I´ve tried everything - tried connecting the device through the Bluetooth options etc etc... But my laptop just won´t find the device even thou it´s powered up. So I really don´t understand what the problem is. Tried to see if I was missing any driver but didn´t seem like it. What can I do to make it work? I mean I can connect my Studio microphone without problems through USB and use that but it seems to be a problem with my bluetooth options. Any suggestions?

Kind regards
Jonathan

    If Device Manager shows no red or yellow warnings in the BT folder, network BT adapter folder,  or anywhere else, then it's a likely headphone failure. You can double-check by trying to discover another BT device such as a mobile BT phone with your laptop or to see if another BT computer discovers the headphones. Jack E/NJ

    I´ve checked that - thing is that my stationary PC can detect the devices but not the laptop. The laptop can only detect the cellphone and my smartwatch so I wonder if this specific laptop is missing some drivers or something else due to not being able to find the bluetooth sound device.

    @JackE

    I am just very dumb - I read some forums about sony devices and found the "Problem". if only I knew you were supposed to hold down the power button for another 5 seconds after it says "power on" and wait till it says "bluetooth pairing".Well problem solved, it´s connected now. Thank you for your time!

    Congrats @JonathanS93 ! I'm surprised Sony didn't have a quickstart card describing this packed with headphones. Jack E/NJ

    Not really, you don´t really connect it like that when I turn on bluetooth on my Phone - it just founds it directly. But oh well, you learn something new every day!
