Can my laptop support a 144 Mhz gaming monitor?

Hi everyone,
These are the specs of my laptop, does anyone know if it can support a 144Mhz  monitor? 
System Model Aspire VN7-793G
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz, 2808 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
Name NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060

I have read somewherre that my HDMI version is 1.4a which cant run 144Mhz monitor. 
Will i be able to use my thunderbolt output to overcome this problem?

    If anyone still wants to know the answers, you can use your thunderbolt port to achieve this goal .Your thunderbolt will be able to support 144Hz, all you need to get is a thunderbolt to display port cable or adapter and you are good to go.

    Hi Nasha260, 

    Unless the monitor and laptop support HDMI 2.0 it wont run at 1440p 144hz either, with HDMI 1.4 i believe you could get 1440p 60hz. Also a 1050 ti wont be capable of getting near 1440p 144fps in all but the least GPU intensive games.

    My graphic card is 1060, not 1050 ti
    also, if my HDMI does not support this, will my thunderbolt output support this?
