Acer Aspire One not getting passed 2-3.iso recovery stage on usb flashdrive

My laptop is an Acer Aspire One Series

So awhile back out of the blue, i had an issue with my laptop and it said i needed a recovery drive. Recently i purchased one and have attempted to use it on the laptop. It goes through the recovery 1-3 but when it reaches 2-3.iso, nothing else comes up after it. I even let it sit for hours after with still nothing. I checked out some acer help vids and none of them seemed to fix my problem. I checked out the harddrive and such as i checked other questions on this site, but none of them had helped my problem either. It's a bit stressful that i can't get it fixed.

Is there any way to fix the issue?? I appreciate any help. I can drop more info if needed.

Do you remember if there had been any error messages when you were first prompted to insert the recovery medium?
