I wanted to dualboot my new notebook "Acer Swift 3 SF315-52" (Windows10/Linux) so i disabled Secure Boot for disabling SB i had to set a password.
I created a very simple password that I had to enter twice to make sure it was right. (1, 2, 3, 4) After disabling i wanted to enter my BIOS again.
Now it says that the password is wrong but i'm 100% sure that it is correct.
I have called the customer service, they charge 60 € and need more than 14 days for a problem which is not the fault of the customer. Does it makes sense?
I know it's not my fault because several people have reported this problem. (cant find all the links)
https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/544886/swift-3-bios-password-after-upgrade I dont want do communicate with the bad customer service anymore.
I know i have still warranty since i bought it last month and removing CMOS battery means no warranty anmore but i dont see any other options with this bad company.
Can someone please give me the information how to remove the CMOS battery from the Notebook "Acer Swift 3 SF315-52" at least?
Thanks.
