key board - issue

ACER LAPTOP

in my laptop left side Shift key, no.8 and no. 9, print Screen button these are not working. All other keys are working fine.  

What is the problem ? please advice.

    Hi @BEESIVA,

    Try a simple TS below. What is the current OS your are using. 

    Hold the Win key and type device manager.
    Select "Device Manager" from the pane on the left. Expand the Keyboards section, right-click on the keyboard you want to repair and choose "Uninstall." Click the Windows "Start" button and select "Restart." When your computer boots up, Windows will detect your keyboard and install the driver.

    I am using Windows 8.

    i have reinstall the keyboard driver....but still not use.....

    any other solutions ?

    Looks like you have an hardware issue. Guess you will have to check with the local tech for the replacement of those specific keys.

    Did you check if the num lock is on? also check if its working on a notepad. if all the keys are not working then we can troubleshoot but its only 3 r 4 keys not working. in this case not much of Troubleshooting can be done. Try for a Bios Default. >>> turn of the computer. when you turn it back on keep tapping the f2>>> you will see a bios page>>> press f9 and hit enter>>> press f10 and hit enter. Hope it will be helpful.

    Did u get any solution or replacement was the only solution?
