What is the full model number of your monitor?
Acer monitors work on the “Plug-and-Play” principle, meaning that aside from physically connecting the monitor to both a power source and the computer, no other steps or driver are necessary to have the monitor function correctly on windows computer.

Windows will automatically detect your monitor and use a built in plug and play (PnP) driver to provide the supported resolutions in most cases. Plug and play monitors usually do not need a separate monitor driver.

Most of the functionality of the getting images from the operating system onto your monitor is incorporated into the video card driver. Not only Acer, most monitors from all manufacturers are all plug and play these days.

If the touch functionality of your Acer monitor has any issues in Windows 10, we recommend you update the HID-Compliant Device Driver. Use the following steps to update the HID touch driver on your system.

Type Device Manager in the search box, and launch the Device Manager.

Expand the section for Human Interface Devices.

Right-click on HID-Compliant Device and select Update Driver Software.

Select Search automatically for updated driver software.
