My XF270HU polarizing filter is scratched, what should I do?

Someone was messing around near my monitor and stabbed it with a sharp object. From what I can tell, the pixels themselves are not damaged, but the polarization filter was breached. I am inclined to believe this because the color emitted is white, and the brightness of the hole changes with the rest of the monitor. (Picture down below, sorry for poor quality)The white spot below the cursor is the hole, It extends far enough into the screen to feel with a bare finger. As I understand this is not covered by warranty (it is valid until 2020), but does anyone know where I could potentially get this repaired, or if it can be repaired at all? Thanks!

It can be repaired, but likely only by replacing the display. That is probably not cost effective. :(
