here are the main differences when compared 2 devices specs.

Looking at the specs Predator 15 has a pretty decent screen size with high processing speed. Choice is yours.

Coming to the graphic specs GTX 1060 has good score.

It says nearly a 2x increase. I'm not sure if I completely believe that, but you'll probably want to ask what types of games you'll be playing or want to be playing.  If frame rate matters (think FPS games), then the 1060 seems to make more sense. If you're playing indie games, cardgames (hearthstone), then the 1060 probably isn't going to add a lot of extra value.

    Hope this helps.

The Helios 300 should be a 1050ti at minimum so not quite 2x.

The 1050ti is a decent chip to be honest but the 1060 is definately more "future proof" if your looking ahead 2-3 years (maybe more since its the most owned GPU on the market).

    I vote Pred 15.

    7700 with 1060
    vs
    8750 with 1050

I would pick the former. But like @Red-Sand mentioned if the 15 is with 6xxx, go ahead with 500.

    A 1060 with a 7700 only utilizes 40% of the CPU.
Absolutely choose stronger GPU over CPU unless you do video rendering/AutoCAD etc.

    If for gaming then 1060 > 1050ti
