One of my usb 2.0 ports does not recognize any device

from the moment i turned on my laptop, only one of the usb ports powers on the device but not recognize the device ( keyboard lights up but cant type). I have a helios 300 144hz

    @Traeks

    you can try uninstalling the USB drivers from device manager and restart the device. Once, done re-connect the ports and check if the device recognizes any USB drives.

    Right click your start button and select "device manager".

    Click the drop down arrow next to your USB drivers and check if there is any yellow exclamation points shown.
    If yes then try right clicking > Updating driver

    Tried this and no exclamation point

    Then it's probably a good bet to contact Acer and have them repair it under warranty.

    it could be the port itself might gone bad. There's another way to check if this little trick works if it does not then i would suggest to contact acer support for help

    > Turn off the device
    > go to BIOS by pressing "F2" while powering up the device
    > Press F9 and hit enter to set the BIOS to defaults
    > press F10 to save and exit

    Upon exit connect the device and check
    Click on 'Yes' to accept my comment as answer
