I have a problem with the autorotate on my Acer Spin 1

I recently bought this Acer spin 1 and I've been enjoying it, but there is one issue with it that bugs me and I'd like to know how to fix it. Whenever I flip my tablet around 360 into tablet mode, sometimes the orientation will be locked back into landscape and the on screen keyboard will no longer automatically pop up. If I start to move the tablet around, or open it up in tent mode, then it will start working again, but it starts to become a little tedious after doing it every time I want to use my laptop in tablet mode. It does this whether or not I set my laptop into tablet mode or when I'm in regular desktop mode. Has anyone else ran into this issue, is it just a windows thing or is my product defective? If need be, I can record a video to show exactly what is going on with my laptop.

What is the full model number of your device?
The root cause of the problem may be due to the issue in software or there may be a problem with Device Drivers. Before trying these suggestions, make sure that your device is updated to the latest patch as sometimes, downloading the latest update may fix most of the software issues associated with autorotation.
    >>Checking screen rotation settings
It's also likely that you might have accidentally turned on the rotation lock option that prevents your device from rotating. If this is the case, do the following:
Use the Windows key + A keyboard shortcut to open Action Center.
Click the Expand button. Click the Rotation lock to turn it off.
Quick Tip: You can also control this option under Scale and layout on Settings > System > Display.
Change the orientation of the device to see if it rotates automatically.
The utility will scan, detect, and fix common problems with the sensors on your computer, including the motion sensor.
    Click the Close button.

    >>After completing the steps, try to change the orientation of the device to see if auto-rotation works.
If your device doesn’t switch automatically to Tablet Mode, you can do the following to access Tablet Mode manually:
Click the Action Center button in the Taskbar. When Action Center opens, click the Tablet Mode.
You can also enter Tablet Mode using the Settings app:  Open Settings > System > Tablet Mode.
Make sure that Make Windows more touch-friendly when using your device as a tablet is turned On.
If you want, you can also change how your device will work when you automatically switch Tablet Mode on or off.

    >>Running troubleshooter
If the screen will still not rotate, you can use the Sensors Troubleshooter to fix the problem.
Download the Sensor Troubleshooter from Microsoft. Double-click the SensorDiagnosticTablet.diagcab to launch the experience.
    Click the Next button.
If you find that the Screen auto-rotate option is greyed out, backup the Registry. and then open the Run command by pressing Windows Key +R.
Type regedit and click on Ok.
Now navigate to the following path:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AutoRotation
Find key LastOrientation and double-click on it.
Add 1 in DWORD value data field and click OK to save the changes.
Next, use Ctrl+F to search for the SensorPresent key. If it’s available, double-click on it and change the DWORD value to 1. If it is not available, you may create it under AutoRotation and give it a value 1.
    Restart your PC and see.

I've actually tried all of those before and none of them have fixed the issue. The exact model that I have is the sp111 32n p6cv.
