I had bought this laptop back in 2016, and been using it ever since. I usually keep good care of it, but recently I have been having annoying issues with my laptop. Specifically with the charging part of it, as it keeps being connected, to disconnected. I went through two chargers already, and have one new one from a couple days ago. only, it keeps beeping, charging on and off. Worried because I use it for college. If it is a charger port issue, how much does it cost to be repaired? And how long does it take, since all my classes are networking and coding related. So I would need this very fast. Or, is there a way i could possibly upgrade by trading in or something? I would prefer it being fixed, but I would like to see what I could upgrade too out of curiosity.

These webpages explains beep codes & troubleshooting.  The answer to which motherboard is in your device eludes me at this point.  Try calling Acer support in your area with your SNID for that information.  They may decline to help because the warranty has expired.
We will have to do more searches, if Acer is not forthcoming.  Once we know the manufacturer we should have a better idea of which beep codes to use.  While you contact Acer, I'll continue searching.

To identify the motherboard, use the System Information utility as described here.
