Can any of the predator helios 300 owners please post a picture of their system properties?
The acer support guy came and formatted my PC and reinstalled from his pendrive.
While doing this he deleted all the partitions on my SSD (That were originally there).
I have the core i5 8th gen version with GTX 1050ti.

I was told that the recovery installed on my pc was of nitro, and he can't guarantee to give me the proper predator software and now that he has deleted the partitions, even the original recovery is gone.
Before he came it showed the name as NITRO AN515-52 and now its disappeared.
I'd like to know what others see on this page.
It had NITRO sense before which was deleted and Predator sense was installed, but it says Discrete GPU is idle and doesn't show GPU Temperatures.
The device ID is also changed (i've hidden it coz i wasn't sure if i'm supposed to share it here).
The laptop is only a month old and i had registered this complaint in 10 days of purchase, but they've been dragging it for so long.
If someone could show what their Predator shows in system properties it would help me out.
Please respond ASAP.

This is what it said Originally.

This is what it says now.
The device ID is also changed, product ID is same.

dont worry, now the laptop is proper. previously nitro sense oem windows was installed, which is not correct version, since yours is the predator series laptop.

The engineer has simply reinstalled windows 10.

The predator sense will show GPU temps only when you use any programs which uses nvidia GPU. when your laptop is idle, it is not using nvidia gpu but using intel gpu.

run any game or app which uses nvidia gpu and it will start showing data.

even on my machine it is showing the same bios options.

just download windows 10 home iso from microsoft site and use rufus program to make a bootable pen drive.
or use microsoft media creation tool to make bootable pen drive.

you can use that to install fresh copy of win 10.

incase you format you will have to install all drivers from acer website for your particular model. just input your snid or serial #.

What about the original recovery that he deleted?
I wanted to format the laptop after all the changes he made, but he says i will lose my OS if i format it now since he deleted the recovery.
The acer support guy says that there should have been more options on this page, is that true?

to check your system product name you can use acer care centre. it will correctly show from bios the system product name as "Predator PH315-51".

if you want this to be shown in system properties page then you will have to modify windows registry by regedit.
the exact thing to add i can post here if you confirm you are comfortable in editing the registry by regedit.
