Laptop Model : E5-575-50RM, Acer Aspire E15 series
Acer BIOS ver: V 1.25
OS env :  Linux OS

Qn: 1. I see 3 more BIOS related updates in Acer official site post v1.25 but mostly in flashable exe format for windows OS env. So what method Acer officially recommends
     for those Linux OS users ? i.e 1.27 , 1,29
     2. Atleast those Intel ME/microcode related stuff one can get from Linux Kernel side of stuff and so i am not worried much to update but if any someone has other views let me know here. ( 1.32 , 1.45 )

Also are these Acer BIOS flashable updates cumulative ones , meaning the latest is the greatest containing all previous ?

Thanks in advance for replies.

    (1) Unless the machine is having a problem that a firmware update specifically addresses, it should NOT be applied.
    (2) Cannot make that assumption.

Rule of thumb. Firmware updates should only be applied as a last resort to fix problems that cannot otherwise be solved within the operating system environment. Jack E/NJ
