    The problem @Red-Sand, is that the notebook is not going into windows, so I recommended that it try to enter the safe mode!

    I did miss that! My notification brought me to a previous page not this one!
    (On my phone there's multiple pages)

  • Thank you all for your help and speedy replies!  But I have decided to take advantage of my warranty and send it to a certified Acer repair vendor to have it fixed.

    That's always a safe bet, let us know how it goes!

    @MilsimCrusader, was your problem resolved by Acer Service under the warranty?
    I am facing a similar problem since today. Would really appreciate your guidance if any on the matter.

    @parthad21 Why yes!  It turns out, I was sent a defective laptop.  The only possible solution was to send it back to acer for repairs.  I suggest you do the same and soon!  The holiday season is going to make packages delayed in their delivery both to acer and back to you.
