T3-710 is being left vulnerable to Spectre and Meltdown.

A ACER Solution Engineer has just told me online that due to the T3-710 being seen by ACER as EOL, no BIOS update will be issued, see attached grab of my conversation.

Why are ACER leaving my system vulnerable, and passing the buck to Microsoft ?
T3-710 still listed on the support page as "IN Progress" ???

Just for proof, I've rerun the SA-00086 detection tool, and yep still vulnerable.

Microsoft has released updates for windows operating system. Please check if there are any pending updates on your device and keep it updated. The core updates are created by your device manufacturer and provided by Microsoft after they go through Microsoft’s Windows Hardware Quality Labs testing to ensure they’re stable.
The Windows 10 updates, contain Intel's latest microcode fixes for the recently discovered Spectre vulnerabilities, which affect many modern computer processors. The Microsoft updates have been released for every version of Windows 10, from the first build, 1507, through to 1803, also known as the April 2018 Update.

    Spectre (CVE-2017-5753, CVE-2017-5715)

The Spectre issue consists of two different vulnerabilities. One can be addressed with updates to the Operating System, as well as your internet browser. The second part requires an update to the microcode of your processor, which Acer will deliver as a BIOS update for most affected systems.

I have the updates from Windows Update, but without the processor microcode update, that Acer state on the support page is "In Progress" my system is still vulnerable.
