Hello everybody,

I have bought a new Acer SWIFT 3 and it seems as it went through some upgrades. No longer has glass on the display, now has DDR4 RAM instead of LPDDR3. Anyway, back to my original thought. I had no possibility to try an older SWIFT with glass (glossy), but read a lot of thorough review (as I assumed, that I've ordered the older version) - Do older models flex when lets say direct force is applied on keyboard area? How much force is needed to bend the center area? When I'm tying and perform normal-harder stroke, I can see how gaps around other keys changes (due back lid).Palm rest area is alright, touch-pad as well. In every review they stated, sturdy case - but literally nothing about the keyboard.
Can someone provide his opinion, experience with his swift and his thoughts whether it is okay?

Thank you.

It is okay. You’ll find flex in the Swift 3’s metal if you go looking for it, a strong press especially toward the middle of the laptop is all that’s required, but it isn’t noticeable in normal use. The Acer Swift 3’s build quality is very solid. it’s stiff and robust.
