I'm planning on adding an extra SSD to my Predator G6-710, but I don't know what types it supports.
2.5, M.2, mSATA or PCI Express?

It supports M.2 SSD and for more info and compatibility check on the below link

If you already have an SSD in their (hence the extra in 'extra SSD') you are using the M.2 slot already. There is only the one M.2, but you have four SATA ports on the motherboard, so you can load it up with SATA SSDs. I'd be tempted to get one of the 3.5" drive cages that support two 2.5" SSDs, even if you are only putting one in, because you'll then have room for expansion. BTW, I believe the M.2 slot is M.2 SATA, not M.2 NVMe, but I've been known to be wrong before (I just can't remember when!) :)
