I just purchased an Iconia A3-B50 less than a week ago, because it was one of the few tablets I could find with an HDMI port. With 64 GB of Storage, and 4 GB of Memory, I was not expecting any problems. The first video I played started breaking up (stuttering, freezing) after about 8 minutes, and then got progressively worse until it became totally unwatchable. I tried playing several different videos only to experience the same problem. I have installed latest system updates, changed the HDMI cable, tried viewing with no other apps running after a reboot, switched HDMI ports on my TV, all to no avail. My desktop and laptop both work fine using the same downloads and HDMI to TV connection. Keep in mind I do not have a stable internet connection so streaming not an option. I notice others with this particular model experiencing the same problem. Has anyone out there found, or come up with a solution?
