Gateway 450x video card upgrade to allow windows 7 aero use.

I currently have a ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 Graphics card with 32 mb DDR video memory that windows 7 states is incompatible with Windows aero. Are there any upgrade paths/solutions available to me and if so what might they be...thanks!

    Video requirements for aero are:
A DirectX 9 compatible graphics processor with a Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) driver, Pixel Shader 2.0 in hardware, and a minimum of 128 MB of Video RAM.
    Try Windows Experience Index
Right click My Computer -> Properties, A New window with System information will be displayed
Click on Performance Information and Tools at bottom right side of window.
    Now click Re-run the assessment
Once your Windows Experience Index is recalculated and if its higher then 3.0, Aero in Windows 7 will get automatically enabled.

If your system is a desktop you are in luck. In order for your system to run aero, you can get a new graphics card either for AGP or PCI-E slots. Since you are a running a laptop, you are out of luck. You have to live without aero because the only possible solution is for you to find a driver. Unless of course, you are willing to get a new motherboard with a compatible graphics card that fits your chassis. Hope it helps.
