Aspire 5 A515-51G-70PU - Battery and beeps doubts

I´ve just bought a brand new Aspire 5 A515-51G-70PU model, but found two things very intriguing:

1) When I connected the battery charger for the very first time, the blue led appeared showing that the battery was fully charged. Shouldn`t a brand new battery come partially charged? I wonder if "fully charged" here could mean "not brand new"...

2) I hear a single beep every time (a) Windows 10 booting process ends, (b) I connect the battery charger to the unit, and (c) I disconnect the battery charger. Are these beeps normal? In case they are, is there a way to unable them?

Thanks a lot!

    Hi Ladyhawk,
Generally when you take a new computer out of the box , you would need to charge it for 6 hrs. But if you will like to know whether the computer is brand new then just contact acer support center so that they can check as to when was this computer first turned on.

If you are not getting any error on the screen then it means the beep is normal. Yes you can tweak the beep sound.Follow the steps.
    1. Click on the Start menu and type "personalization" into the search box. Hit enter to go to the Personalization panel.
    2. Click on "Sounds" to enter the Sound preferences.
    3. Uncheck the "Play Windows Startup Sound" box at the bottom of the window. Hit OK.

(1)Vendors typically check packages received from the factory before going into inventory. The good ones will also make sure the batteries are fully charged. A new Li-ion battery should have low self discharge sitting in inventory. So I'd say you have a good vendor and a good battery.

    (2) Beeps normal. But if they bother you google "beep sounds" "windows 10" with the quotes.
