So I bought this new Nitro 5 with the GTX 1050 less than a month ago and I have been having trouble updating widows on it. Recently there was an update on Windows 10, but when I restart the laptop as it says to do on the updater, the screen just says something close to "Update failed, Undoing Changes, Please don't turn off". Is it a windows problem or is the hardware just too old? I just bought it and I don't think I can return it now, so plese help if you can.

I have been facing similar issues with my Nitro 5 w/ GTX1050 8+16GB Optane variant. Windows downloads updates but during restart it fails and displays the above message. I have tries SFC multiple times and all the errors are fixed (cross verified also by looking at CBS.log) and also DISM but without any luck. Seems like its a issue with a specific model?

    Event Viewer message:
Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0xE0000100: 2018-09 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems (KB4457128).

I am not an expert on computer so I don't know if I did this right or wrong, but after I ran the command a few times I restarted and I still got the same screen," Preparing your computer, Please don't turn off your computer." . And it just stayed like that for an hour. And I had to turn off the computer and start it again, but it still didn't fix the problem.
