BIOS download for ACER ASPIRE F5-573

Hello.

I was trying to fix a booting problem on an acer aspire F5-573 but it came with a BIOS password. So i tried to reset it by removing the BIOS battery and pushing the BIOS reset button. To my surprise when i put it all back together, i was welcomed by a blinking balck screen. The backlight is on but no image is displayed, it just turns on and off.

I've read that it might be a BIOS problem so I want to reflash it but i can't find the files to do that. All i find in the acer site is a windows program to update the bios and i need to do it with then FN+ESC method, since i cannot access any OS.

Where can I get that file? or how can i fix this problem otherwise?

Press and hold the power button for about 5 seconds till the machine completely shuts off. Then turn it back on again. Jack E/NJ

what? the machine does power on but nothing besides a blinking black screen happens. no matter how many seconds i press the power button.

At the blinking black screen, I want you to press and hold the power button for 5 seconds or longer till the blinking white cursor on the black screen disappears to a completely black screen. This indicates the machine is completely shut off. Once the machine is completely off with no blinking cursor, no backlight, no nothing ---- then press the power button again one time to turn it back on to see if you still get the blinkiing cursor on the black screen. Did you get reset the password bios?
