Its been a few months since i bought a Predator XB240H

It has recently come too my attention that my monitor may not running on 144hz but on 60hz after using the UFO test online.

Info before i start explaining, Its a brand new computer, here are the quick speccs

Intel Core i7-8700K Prosessor
ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-F Gaming, S1151
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080TI
32gb of ram

I am using a Displayport Cable

Here we go

I went into the Nvidia Control panel and see that my display options looks like this

so i check my OSD on the monitor and it basically confirms that it's running on a 100hz

But one of the problems is that it stops at 100hz, but the test doesnt even pick up that its running on 100hz, no matter what setting i put it on, it never goes beyond 60hz. I have confirmed with multiple browser that the test should be able to test it without a problem.

And as it says above that its the Ultra HD, HD and SD settings but if i scroll down too where it just says PC and the same resolution i get the option for 144hz

and again my monitor still confirms that its the same and it matches the settings

So a two parter question.

Is there a difference between the "PC" and Ultra HD, HD, SD option? i feel like the "ultra" option should be the best one but its capped at 100hz.

and why does the test not recognize it as 144hz and i do feel like when im looking at the screen that there is literally no difference between the option. I have done a few of the test but they all come up the same, saying my display is not running on 60hz..

I also realize that if i am completely wrong about this that i will look like a total *****, but i still feel that something is off and not right here.

I also feel when watching 1080p movies/videos i don't "feel" the HD look, like i take one look and my mind instantly tells me this is not FullHD.

I appreciate any comments and answers just so that i can calm my mind that there is nothing wrong. Even comment and tell me if i am wrong and that i am in fact an *****.
