The fans in your computer can get power in one of two ways: From the motherboard, or directly from your computer’s power supply. If they’re connected to the power supply (usually through a Molex connector), there’s no way to control them through software—you’d have to hook them up to a hardware fan controller. However, since Predator has 'Sense' installed in it, we can assume that it's connected to your system motherboard and that means Fans can be controlled.
But you would sill have to install a third party software like SpeedFan. These software allow you customize your fan speed. I recommend checking out the article at the following link. It takes you through the process with explanatory diagrams and screen shots.

  • I've been searching for a while for this and have had no luck. Speedfan doesn't work even after submitting my specs to Speedfan's developer.

Even unlocking BIOs and using its fan curve settings and removing Predator Sense doesn't work.

Predator Sense it a disappointment to me. It stopped working and now I have no way to control my fans.

I'm having the same problem where predator sense won't even open. I have the Predator G3-571. I've done what it says to do to fix this on the acer site by changing some PredatorSense service controls in the Task Manager but it didn't work or using FanSpeed didn't work and deleting and reinstalling Predator sense didn't work. I don't know why but this started to happen about 3 months ago and I can tell hundreds of other people are as frustrated as me and have this problem!
