For my computer, it has gotten to the point that I have to have the computer display in a perfect position so the display would actually appear. Any other position my computer is basically a black screen, if you look up close... you might barely be able to see the white spots on apps but that would be it. I'm trying to figure out what it is but it seems that there is no information on what to do.

Also, the name for my computer is the Acer E5-575.

    This seems to be an issue with internal cable connectivity. Try to perform a power reset and check the issue.
    Disconnect the charger. Please check for a battery reset PIN hole at the bottom of the device. The reset hole would have a battery symbol next to it.
    Insert a paperclip into the hole and press for four seconds. Let the computer sit for 5 minutes with no power. Reconnect the charger and check the issue.

    You can also try connecting an external monitor and see if you'll get any display without interruption from it. If there's a perfect display on the external monitor that could mean that the problem is the built in display.

    Well it sounds like it is the display that is the issue, what would I be able to do to fix this issue, or would it be unfixable.

    If your laptop is in warranty you may contact Acer support in your region to fix this issue. If not, you may contact a local technician to check if the internal cable that connects the display screen and motherboard is broken.

    When you get the black screen at the start you've got to start the computer;
    take out the AC (the power supplier) and the battery. Hold the power botton for 1-2 minutes, to create "hard reset".
    Inset only AC (Power supplier) and start the computer WITHOUT the battery. If it doesn't work, wait 8 or more hours to try from the beginning.
    Now the computer should start.

    Here is the thing to fix it atleast for a while;
    Hold your mouse to the right side, aleast for Windows 8. Click on "Search" and search for "Restore". One of the options will be "Create a restore point"
    Click on that.
    Under "System Protection", choose System Restore.
    Click next, until you can find some options.
    IMPORTANT!; Make sure to save important files into cloud or USB or dvd, your phone or whatever. It may get corrupt, mostly if its an app.
    Now think when did the problem happend. Pick a time before it. I personally took one 20 days ago. Click on Next, and begin it.

    This will delete apps that you've downloaded during the time, but not documents, but make sure to take a backup anyways. The most important thing, is that it deletes the thing that made it black..

    It fixed for me, hopefully also for you.
