Acer Aspire One A0A150 has all USB ports disabled

Hey guys,

My Aspire's USB ports are inactive somehow. They wont recognize a mouse or flash drives. Also, I noticed it is running a fresh version of Win Vista. The Acer Support page gave me all the new

drivers for my machine, but they are for XP. I'm sure that wouldnt

be a good idea to install..

So anyway, I  have already went to device manager and uninstalled all

the USB support drivers and rebooted to get those drivers updated to

no avail. I noticed if you "Google" Aspire / bad usb's,

something to that effect, you will see this seems to be a fairly common issue. So, I decided to try my luck on here and see if some of you Acer experts might've solved this one yet and would help a girl out.

Thanks guys!,

It could be a driver issue, or the ports could actually be bad. Are the ports recognized if you load Acer's OEM copy of Windows? You can get recovery disks at http://store.acer.com, click eRecovery.
