I’ve recently bought a Swift 3 315-52G with the 25W version MX150 (plus 8 gigs of RAM and an i5 8250u). The problem I have is that in most games, most noticably in GTA V even though I have 45-60 FPS almost all the time, the game just doesn’t feel smooth. Even under full load the GPU and the CPU run under 70 celsius, so I don’t think that its caused by thermal throttling.
Do you have any idea what could be the issiue and how to solve it?

Run RTSS (RivaTuner Statistics Server. ) in the background and check FPS closely. If it is high FPS, then drops when you get more excessive stutter, that usually indicates a bottleneck. CPUs are quite often the cause of it. If your CPU is not able to keep up with the GPU, the rendering will bog down as the GPU waits to be sent new rendering data from the CPU.

If you think from the above this might be the case, you can monitor while playing with MSI Afterburner via it's onscreen readout. Check for extremely high CPU usage percentage, with GPU usage being lower than normal.

If none of the above is the problem, it could be high temps or a failing part, including PSU.
