Hi,
Is there a way to Enable NX?
I ran VMWare application which has OS Windows Server2012, but during startup process there is a notification NX / XD is required by windows8srv-64 guests. NX must be enabled in Bios. After that the process stopped.

When I go to Bios setting, there is no such option to Enable NX. Is there a way to avoid this NX? What is probably the cause of this problem? I use Aspire 4740G with i5 processor 64 bit, 6 Gb RAM.
Kindly help/advise the solution about this case.

Regards,
Hamdi

    Hi All,

Anyway, above case is run using my laptop Aspire 4740G, processor i5 64bit.

Update from my side, I ran this VMX on another machine (my desktop PC), processor also intel i5, Bios using UEFI.
There is option to enable NX, and when I check using coreinfo the NX bit has been successly enabled. But when I ran the VMX again, during booting up there is another notification saying:
"This Virtual machine is configured for 64-bit guest operating systems. However, 64-bit operation is not possible.
This host supports Intel VT-x, but Intel VT-x is disabled."
I search in bios UEFI, there is no option to activate the VT-x. Is there another way to solve activate VT-x?

    Thanks and much appreciated.
