Just bought an Aspire E5-476G-55Y2 laptop. Unfortunately, it only has 4 GB DDR4 RAM.

Would like to add another 4 or 8 GB, but not sure what's compatible.

Shortlisted these 2:
1) https://www.lazada.sg/products/kingston-valueram-4gb-ddr4-2400mhz-cl17-non-ecc-12v-sodimm-so-dimm-notebook-memory-kvr24s17s64-i143283854-s176172945.html?spm=a2o42.seller.list.12.60dd4804JWjI5K&mp=1

2) https://www.lazada.sg/products/crucial-8gb-ct8g4sfs824a-ddr4-2400mhz-12v-sodimm-i123765028-s137450513.html?spm=a2o42.searchlistcategory.list.14.51e532a3r6TH4D&search=1

Searched Kingston and got this: https://www.kingston.com/us/memory/search?model=97216&devicetype=3&mfr=ACE&line=Aspire

Searched Crucial and got this: http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/Acer/aspire-e5-476g

Those 2 on my shortlist are not on the compatibility lists of Kingston and Crucial, despite having similar specs.

Does anyone know if they are compatible with the Aspire E5-476G-55Y2?

Sharanji, you mentioned that the laptop supports 204-pin, but the compatible memory modules and officially listed ones are DDR4 260-pin.

    Is it 204 or 260-pin?
