The screen which came with the laptop is gone. Displaying white barcodes all over it.

I got another screen as replacement, but the colours are all washed out, and most importantly for some reason games can't be played on it. I don't know why, but where I would easily be getting 60+ FPS, I now get 3-4. I know for sure it's the screen because it's the same issue across multiple games which all happened after the screen replacement and in fact The Sims gave me an error saying that it couldn't load due to a hardware change.
Due to the washed out colours, I want to get a better screen and after googling the exact model number of the original screen have found this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/LM156LF1L03-LCD-Display-Schermo-Screen-15-6-1920x1080-FHD-LED-30pin-hrf/372240783160?hash=item56ab479738%3Ag%3A8m0AAOSwxURbQzPL&_sacat=0&_nkw=LM156LF1L03&_from=R40&rt=nc&_trksid=m570.l1313
But I'm hesitant to get it because I don't want another FPS issue and not be able to play games. I checked the drivers for the new screen and it's just generic drivers, so I'm not sure how exactly to update them to get games to work. Will I get this same issue with the screen I buy from ebay as well? And if I do, what can I do to fix it?

Hi JacenSolo, I request you to please share the exact model of your laptop. If you couldn't get model #, please share the actual size of your laptop screen and whether it is touch or non-touch.
