Should my Predator G3-605 (Model Name: AG3-605) Part Number: DT.SPXEQ.035 be compatible with and capable of, using a ASUS Geforce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card?
I ask because the Radeon R9 255 that came with the PC has ceased to function.

Also if the answer to my question is a yes, what could or would be causing the PC to neither see nor recognize the card when connected to the motherboard?

    Hi.

Yes, it would be compatible, take into account the measures well.

    Regards.

Excellent, thank you, compatability is then not an issue. What remains now is why the card is not "seen" by the computer when powered up, as in the fans are not running on the card nor is it listed in the device manager (the card has been tested and works)

Any nuggets of wisdom or insights on the matter?

Not sure how to edit my previous post, hence the new one

I should point out the PCIe slot for the card is not faulty, or at least seems to not be faulty because while attempting to solve my issue, i re-inserted the old broken graphics card which the pc had no problem both detecting and using. For about 30 seconds before I had to power off the pc for safeties sake.

A bios issue perhaps? I have looked in the bios and noticed there are no display/graphics listings/options nor any for PCI or PCI-E
