It's unbelievable to hoops you have to jump through to ask anyone a question.

I purchased two laptops (Acer Aspire 3's) for my kids last Christmas from Best Buy (huge mistake) ... here we are seven months later and BOTH of the power adapters have stopped working.  I went back to the store to purchase new adapters but "they don't carry adapters for specific laptops" and tried to sell me a 'universal' adapter for almost $100!!!!!!!  I look online and there are several there but they want more to ship them then they are worth!

My question, are the adapters covered under the "manufacturers limited warranty"?  I checked both serial numbers and they both say their "limited warranties" are still valid but tell me absolutely nothing about what they cover.

Hi Scott1900, From the information shared the laptop was purchased on last Christmas. Hence, unit is less than 12 months. Normally Acer provides 1yr warranty. I also hope that adapters are covered under warranty. Please call Acer Technical Support in your region and check. It will worthy to call them, rather buying adapter at own expense.
