Dear All

I took an issue of bubbles forming in my touchscreen laptop of Acer Aspire E1-572P. The bubbles are on the botton left and right side corners of the laptop. Attached the photos showing the issues.

Anyone know a way that I can remove these bubbles? Any help in greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

This happens when the plastic outer cover of the lcd gets pushed up against the glass on the actual lcd. It then sticks to the screen and makes this strange bubble thing. Try rubbing lightly around the bubble to get it to pop off. I suggest avoiding any type of pressure onto the top lid. Even if there is a little residual or dirt or marks we've found a quick wide down with Isopropyl wipes brings them up like new.

The LCD has a polarized layer over it and if this layer has air trapped under it during manufacturing this can cause the screen to bubble. This can also happen from a crack in the polarized layer or excessive heat.  If the bubbles are on the outside layer of the glass then it might be the anti-reflective coating that they put on.

Also, it could be a screen manufacturing defect or a heat issue. Maybe a crack due to putting to much pressure on the screen and then air gets in and causes a bubble. Please contact Acer to see if they will warranty it or you can generally order a replacement online and often find instructions for doing so.
