Cpu/gpu normal temperature G3-571

Hi guys hows your unit's temperature goin? While playing in high settings while plugged in with ac and battery power? I just got my unit from servicing and Im playing with Nino kuni 2, witcher 3 in low settings and the gpu temp goes to 60-70 but while in high graphic settiings it goes 80-90 even higher is this normal?

I am following this forum for some months now, and read many post like yours.
In short:
1)When gaming via battery you get lower temps. It's normal, both because the hardware isn't going 100% (GPU, mostly), and because it automatically throttles the CPU cores when needed, something that the 7700hq does NOT do while plugged in power (unless you use throttlestop, that is)
2)As far as gaming temperatures go... that's also normal. I would say "unfortunately normal". You can follow hotel hero instructions in the topped post to use throttlestop, or, if you really don't want to do undervolting, check in the games for an option to activate v-sync or put a "max" to the number of FPS you get. That will also lower your gaming temperatures, but you have to operate on a per game basis.0 -
