A3 715 U61: SSD HD Upgrade?

Title sez it all. Can i replace the HDD HD with a SSD HD? If so is there a specfic SSD HD type/interface/size i need use to be successful? Are there any tutorials around? Thanks everyone. Youve been a huge help.

    This model has two slots supporting 9.5mm/7mm 2.5-inch SATA 3.0 HDD, 500GB/1TB/2TB/ hard disk

    Also, this model has 1 SSD bay with form factor M.2 2242/2280 and Interface SATA 3.0

    Thanks Sharanji, 

    If the current HDD currently occupies one of the HDD slots, can i install a SDD of over 250GB capacity in that second HDD slot? Will the BIOS recognize it as a SDD and not a HDD, and lastly can i transfer the contents of the HDD to the SDD (in the second slot) and then boot from that in the future or will i have to make changes to the BIOS?

    The best option is to install an SSD  in the M.2 slot as mentioned in the above image. Your BIOS will recognise the SSD.
    After installing the SSD, download Minitool partition wizard free program, run it as admin, use migrate feature( at the top), after the completion of migration, remove the HDD and try to boot with only the SSD, after confirming everything is fine, you may delete the OS from the HDD and use it for storage.

    The M.2 slot will support much larger SSDs than the recommended models. Those were just the ones Acer tested...
