A500 Tablet - Screen will not come alive on power button press

DogandCatDogandCat Posts: 1Member

I have a A500 Acer Tablet .... When I press the power button on the side of the unit the screen does not come alive. Other than this issue the Tablet works fine. I can get the tablet screen to come alive (light up) by either pressing the Hardware Reset button on the side of the unit with a paper clip or by plugging the unit into an AC outlet with the transformer cord. I assuming the power button is faulty. This unit is only about a year old. Any other suggestions to try and get the power button working again?
