Hi guys, am new to the forums and joined because i have a problem. Currently using F5-573G-765C laptop and jst 1 month ago my qualcomm atheros driver acted up weird. My wifi would suddenly disconnect and when I search for available networks it would show none because the driver would be disabled. This happens even thought all my other devices are connected to the internet so this should be a laptop problem. Any suggestions what i can do? Thanks in advance.

Thank you for posting this issue!

Please try the below mentioned steps:

    >>Open the Network troubleshooter by following these steps:

Press Windows key+X and click on Control Panel. Click on Troubleshooting and click on View All.  Click on Network Adapter troubleshooter to fix problems with Network Adapter. Follow the on-screen directions to run this troubleshooter and restart the computer to check if this helps.

    >>Further, you may reset the Winsock settings and check if this helps:
    Run CMD as administrator.
In the command line type: netsh winsock reset.
Press Enter then restart your PC to check if this helps.

    >>If you still face the issue try re-installing the drivers :

    Atheros driver : Download

Troubleshooting usually states that eternet cable is broken but i dont use eternet to connect. I ran the cmd but that was after i fixed the error but holding down my power button for a force restart. Usually works after a few force restarts but i know its bad for the system.  Will try the steps again if the same error occurs and see what happens. Will update if so. Thank you and have a nice day!

Happened again when I tried to play a game ‘league of legends’. Troubleshooting shows eternet adapter disabled and bluetooth network aadalter disabled as well but i usually use the qualcomm adapter which cannot be found in network connections now.(usually there)

CMD way doesnt work as well.

Tried reinstalling driver but to no avail. Btw my qualcomm adapter doesnt seem to be the same as the one in the link but does it matter?

How can i solve this issue? :confounded:
