Hi.
Is it normal for predator sense to use ~ 10-15% of cpu?
It isnt that big of a deal, i usually just turn it on to config some things and then turn it off(settings are saved and working even if its not turned on, so its not that big of a deal).
Its not big problem, but i cant really use it to monitor cpu/gpu usage and temps because of it. With predator sense working laptop gets louder and hotter.
My laptop is helios 500 btw. is this app so cpu hungry on other predator models as well?

I even checked if maybe this app uses this amount of cpu power only when its avalible, freeing it off when cpu is under heavy load, but when i used passmark bench cpu got 12200 with sense on and more than 13000 with it turned off.

Once up for a few seconds, it should stabilize around 2-5% while window is active. When minimized it would drop to zero since its UI does not need refreshing any more.

If you feel Predator Sense UI is taking up too much CPU power, just don't bother about it. You can turn on cool boost in Acer Quick Access app too.

    Thanks sri, that answers it!
I tried minimizing - at most it uses 1% of cpu, usually 0.1% when minimized.

Now i dont have to constantly open/close it  =)
