Aside from turning on Intel XTU and setting it up every time I start up my laptop are there any more permanent ways to undervolt my laptop CPU? I took a quick look into the bios earlier and it seems that I have zero options to work with in there.

(also why doesn't PredatorSense auto fan setting blow as hard as max when it's needed? It feels like it's capped at about 75% of the maximum fan setting and the cpu often reaches 100c temps and shuts off because it cannot cool it as well as max fan settings)

    Note: Mine is a G3-572 with i7 7700 and GTX 1060.

Turn on cool boost; this would increase RPM by about 300-400 more.

Intel XTU : Make changes, apply, and then you can even uninstall it. Changes persist.
ThrottleStop : Load it. Make changes. Set it up as a task. Forget about it.

Unless you reinstall windows you won't even realize they are working.

I prefer ThrottleStop cos of its low memory footprint. Also, since it is a task, in worst case scenario, i could get into safe mode, and disable the task to allow CPU use its default voltages. See below screenshot from my task manager (TS setup as a task on system startup)... less than 1 MB of memory usage.

After I set up TS, the highest surge (momentary) I saw was about 85. It normally stays between 65-80 even for heavy games, and for normal day to day use it stays at about 45-55, with an occasional momentary surge to about 60.

ThrottleStop first, XTU will reset itself for the slightest reason with no warning or explanation.  XTU can be more effective in "some" circumstance when dealing with Package Power Limits, however the reset tendency tends to nullify.  As other members have said ThrottleStop is a set and forget solution :)
