Hi people, So my story is a bit long with my device but I will try to short it as I can:

I was having problems like random blue screens and my Dolby audio disappeared after updating my audio drivers, So I went to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery and I clicked on Reset this PC first I chose "Keep my files" but for some reasons the process was undone, So I went again to the reset page and chose "Delete my files" and clean my hard, the process took about a whole night! first I though my device is dead but after a while it showed me this message:

Because of my low knowledge in these things I chose [No] and the process continued for another hours, it booted finally and showed my the log-in page, then the "processing windows" message appeared and the loading dots looped a while but after some time the laptop froze ,I waited for some hours but my device till now doesn't seems to work.

So what should I do to fix this? I need my laptop so bad, I already went to my local service but they refused to help and asked me to wait for about a week which I can't do.

I have am also an quick inquiry, If I downloaded official Windows iso file and burned it to my flash drive and flashed it, well it ask me to activate it? and also will I lose any Acer features like the boot logo? thanks in advance!

Hope some heroes will help me fixing this problem ^^

Do not be worried as it is OK to select no. The problem is that it is preparing Windows for the first boot and it does freeze during these critical times. Did you try restarting the Windows and see if it boots up? If not, why not boot it in Safe Mode with Networking?

Windows will not ask for the license again because the Product key is electronically stored in the firmware of your motherboard. Well, TPM deletes encrypted keys and if I am not wrong, it won't affect any BIOS files for that matter.

However, the main problem is the Windows boot freeze which I would assume that if Windows fails to boot for a number of times, it automatically initiates a system restore/repair/recovery options. Do you have any recovery options with you?

If you download an ISO from Windows (Media creation tool) it should work as long as the motherboard/BIOS has not been affected during any of these tough times.

Hi thanks for replying, So yes I tried to restart my device but it didn't work, booting in safe mode is a good idea but if it booted successfully what I will do next?
Now I installed windows on my flash drive and I am preparing to do it, but of course it is better if I found another solution.

I understand, if it boots in Safe Mode with Networking, do a clean boot meaning disable every startup items and in services tab, check the Hide all Microsoft services and disable every other key and boot in normal mode. If it fixes the problem, it is good. If not I think the OS did not install properly during the recovery and you probably need to re-install it again but keeping the optimism up.

Hi again. so I reset my device successfully and thanks god my acer logo is still here xD But I lost all of my features like Dolby audio, how can I recover them? thanks for your time

    Here's your full driver's list: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/ZA/content/support-product/7094?b=1

For Dolby: Install Dolby Access from Store App, go to Sound,Playback Devices,  click Speaker and go to Properties, go to Spatial sound tab, and select Dolby Atmos from the dropdown menu.

Other Acer contents that you can download: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/software-windowstools

I am glad that the logo appeared, it was probably in the BIOS. Good luck and have fun. Hope these answer your query.

It didn't work still freezing on the same message even in safe boot. So I think there is no other solutions but installing Windows manually, I guess I will lose my boot logo so if you have an Acer notebook product that shows "Acer" in boot screen can you please go to C:\Windows\Boot\Resources and upload your bootres.dll file? Thanks
