    I believe Acer Care requires a 16gb minimum pen drive to install.

    16 GB USB when formatted has about 14.8 GB usable space. And it works with a 8 GB stick too since that was how i made the initial backup when i purchased the laptop.

    Then it's possible that your system files have been corrupted.

    Try running an elevated command prompt and execute the command

    Sfc /scannow

    @marwan

    Try using the USB 2 port, instead of 3.

    Try with a different usb memory stick as the one you trying to use might be going faulty based on what you said.

    Do you still have on disk management tab the OEM recovery partition, or maybe you did make a clean installation of Windows?
