Model:
Acer Nitro 5 AN515-51-72HL
Part Number:
NH.Q2QAA.002

I know the maximum capacity of my RAM is 32GB, and it's a 260-pin DDR4 PC-4 2400 SODIMM

I'd like to know the maximum capacity of my 2.5" drive, and my M.2 drive for HDD and SSD
Also, what M.2 types are compatible to my unit? What is the size?

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE. =)

You can add 2.5inch drive up to 9.5mm thickness, no storage limit as long as it is able to fit. The M.2 connector on the motherboard is PCIe/NVMe, M key and lenght - 80mm. It supports both M.2 SATA 2280 and M.2 NVMe 2280 SSDs. Unfortunately I don't know whether it has 2 or 4 PCIe lanes. If it has 2 lanes the NVMe SSDs will work at half of the advertised speeds.

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

The is no reference about storage limit of the m.2 port, so I suppose there is no storage limit.

Last question, can the M.2 serve as an OS Drive? =)
