I intend to add a SSD myself, since the labor charge for adding a SSD to my laptop is quite expensive.

But apparently one of the screw hole is sealed by the warranty sticker which says, warranty void if seal broken.

What should I do? Do I really have to pay the labor fees just to add the SSD?

My model is Acer Espire E15, E5-575g.

If the sticker is broken, the warranty would be void true but however, as long as you do not cause any hardware damage during the installation, your warranty will stay intact.

Opening  back panel of your device to install SSD will not void warranty. The warranty would only void if you break something while installing it, which is extremely unlikely to happen.
You may contact Acer support in your region and get more information on warranty of your device.

I also intend to add M.2 Ssd to my acer nitro 515-52 laptop that I bought in March 2019. Acer India Helpline told me to get in touch with local acer service centre but they are not picking up the phone. The warranty document doesn't mention the sticker. Moreover, the sticker on the screw of the laptop has acer written in the centre and "Acer India Warranty" on the upper and lower curve. Am I safe in opening my laptop and removing the optane memory from PCIe slot and adding SSD to it?

    hey @archz2
i am in same situation and I just checked with the Service Centre. They said it will cost ₹750 to simply upgrade the RAM.
I am not going to pay 30% of the hardware cost to them to do the easiest task in the world!

As far as I know the service center people will never say that your warranty will stay intact after damaging the sticker. They would want for you to pay up, but if in some way you can remove the sticker without damaging it (which is possible, ref YT) or get the warranty information clear via an email with Acer support.
