So i undervolted and it runs fairly decent around 85C during heavy long gaming sessions at -130.8. But during WOW i keep getting fps drops sometimes into the 5-10 range. but it seems if i ALT Tab out and back in it jumps back up.. On my benchmark it was consistent.  Does this benchmark look fairly accurate?lo

Is this around the typical results everyone else gets? Just curious.

I wanted to try that out mine... but at 1.2 GB download, I'll let it pass. Try testing yours on heaven benchmark or user bench mark and post the results.
It could also be that the thermal throttling is kicking in when you experience such low FPS.

The same Extreme settings with full screen @ full HD gave 60.4 FPS.

It not thermal throttling, im only sitting around 75c or so. That wont happen to the mid 90's. Nvida did recently come out with a update and i haven't had any issues since then. If i did a quick alt tab out and back in it seemed to fix it then a few mins later it would do it again. But i was playing some PubG today and my Keyboard stopped working when i turned on twitch and my whole laptop froze up. I had to take the back cover off to get it to reset.

It depends on tuning, I think.
    1. I undervolted CPU by -0.125.
    2. Updated power settings to be more battery friendly.

The under volting kept my temps under 71 throughout the benchmark.
But then, the power settings aimed towards saving battery, actually reduced my FPS. Reason being I have CPU cores being parked, and higher CPU usage needed before a parked core is woke up, and before any core speed is upped to the next level.

But then, I am getting 30 or 60 fps constantly (based on the game I play, I limit fps either via game fps option, or via vsync option) without any lag or heating, and I am quite satisfied with my settings. I can provide you those, if you wish to try the same on yours and see if that helps your laptop.

Also am unsure why your max FPS is only 78, while mine reached 175+. There were some areas where it consistently stayed above 100 fps.

Mine is undervolted I think around -130.8  I was sitting in the mid 60s during the test
