Hi I recently upgrade my bios from 1.00 to 1.43 thinking that it will cover the "ME security issue by updating to 11.8.50.3399" as well. Turns out it didn't. Is there anyway i could downgrade to version 1.32 so that it fixed the Me issue then upgrade to 1.43?

There is nothing wrong in installing the latest BIOS update. Each one is cumulative so the latest has all the features of the previous ones. You can't roll back to previous version of BIOS. Downgrading the BIOS is not something people normally do, but there are times when the older BIOS version works better than the newer/current one and you need to downgrade to it while waiting for a newer, more stable BIOS release.

You can try the methods in these two posts (just examples). Please take care that you don't brick your laptop. Do at your own risk. Keep the charger plugged in.
